I want to do exactly this– add a gallery popup from a single image, but rel=”themeblvd_lightbox” no longer works. Is there any way to do it with the short code?

http://postimg.org/image/non87yi3v/So I have to “auto” enable lightbox? Any way to code the lightbox without shortcode so that images reduce responsively? The issue with auto enable is a width seems to have to be included and this overrides the scaling. For example if I have a full width image in the main content with a sidebar and that includes lightbox, the image will not reduce when the screen size is reduced and the image overlaps the sidebar.
Sorry, not really clear on that. Are you going to add variable thumbnail size to the widget options? If so that would be excellent.
I deleted the my child functions and css files and still a problem. Those were only customization in child theme. Initially the author was present in meta after install and some customizing. I added the 4-5 TB plugins that are recommended at install.
Then I added: TB Post Template Options, TB Image Sizes, and TB favicon… perhaps one of those created a conflict even after I disabled them?
