Looks like there is defined height to the slider and fields are populating in red-colored text. So maybe in the style need to adjust remove any height element for .slider or change it to 100%. Also adjust textarea to take the parent color.

Genesis doesn’t have anything on Jumpstart. Jason deserves a yearly renewal. He did a great job with this framework.
