just a follow up:
Chrome – Version 44.0.2403.125 (64-bit)
works as expected, the update resolved the issue.July 24, 2015 at 12:31 am in reply to: SSL Error on live demo site #22585
FYI – I reverted chrome and verified that the issue was fixed…
so looks like just this specific update will cause this issue. there is supposed to be an update monday sometime to fix this.
in case you get any other reports.July 23, 2015 at 10:29 pm in reply to: SSL Error on live demo site #22583

it is working in safari now…forgot to post that.July 23, 2015 at 8:15 pm in reply to: SSL Error on live demo site #22575
well, I got nuthin’…hahaha
I used app cleaner, deleted chrome, restarted computer, re installed chrome, signed in and synced…same thing
then rinse and repeat without the sign in and sync for chrome…
Just saw your reply, thank you for that, it did not work either?
maybe I need to revert to an older version of chrome, it is just the standard download version and not bleeding edge beta or anything.
I am now wondering if I have been chasing down anything caused by this not knowing the link between the ssl error in the browser?…
thank you so much for your time, sorry I took up so much of your support bandwidth for this : |
I am going to look into using safari for development possibly but chromes dev tools are the best as far as I know…July 23, 2015 at 7:37 pm in reply to: SSL Error on live demo site #22573
okay this is crazy…
when I mouse over any link, it has https…
when I right click and view source all of the links are http like they should be?
obviously when it adds the s I get a ton of console errors regarding non secure resources or can not GET etc…
what would cause this?
sorry for the bother this is clearly my machine and not your demo…this is the first time I have seen this.
my first thought is an extension in chrome…but then that deos not explain why safari does the same thing?July 23, 2015 at 7:28 pm in reply to: SSL Error on live demo site #22571
it is odd, everything works if I manually remove the ‘S’ from HTTPS
and every dropdown works except the ‘Builder’ dropdown
the slider does not load, only the .gif
and each link like: http://demoblvd.com/themes/jumpstart-2/demo-1/blog/list-blog/# inherits the https from somewhere, but if I remove the s it loads fine…and even then…same thing the builder dropdown does not fire on hover or click?
feel free to use the teamviewer creds if you want to troubleshoot?…July 23, 2015 at 7:22 pm in reply to: SSL Error on live demo site #22569

weird right? still no goodJuly 23, 2015 at 6:40 pm in reply to: SSL Error on live demo site #22562
wow, even more odd – I just did a restart, emptied my dns cache, emptied my history and cache in chrome…
then opened safari and same thing?… (Version 8.0.7 (10600.7.12))
then had the same results with both when using the hotspot from my AT&T phone…July 23, 2015 at 6:33 pm in reply to: SSL Error on live demo site #22560
Version 44.0.2403.89 (64-bit)
all I can say is WOW

Thanks, yeah that was from my old website in 2009
see here: http://s10.postimg.org/f4l56cqix/trevaco_screenshot.png
I wish I could take credit for the idea, I bought this html theme to use then and really liked it a lot: http://themeforest.net/item/business-news-clean-content-rich-theme/51122
So I was super happy to get it it designed in jumpstart : )
Maybe that can become a builder feature?…it sure works well, would be cool if others could just click to get it : ) : )April 6, 2014 at 10:49 pm in reply to: Menu Icons Font Awesome loading late #16159
Thank You. I had not had a chance to experience the automatic update feature yet : ) very nice.
