ParticipantHowdy Jason,
What confuses me also is it seems like in order to get an extension of the support Envato is making me buy another licence for $49.00 and adds the additional 1 year support fee of $17.70 to that. Do I understand that correctly?
If so that doesnt seem fair. I think it would could be fair to charge the $17.70 for the additional 1 years support.

ParticipantThanks Jason.
I REALLY like that it copies the prior version! It works GREAT for me and gives me piece of mind. So thank you and be well man.

ParticipantMan I am so sorry for bothering you with that. I am embarrassed.
Thank you.

ParticipantThank you Jason. That is very helpful to know.
The images using auto light box do not show visually in the wp visual editor tab. Is that the correct behavior?

ParticipantThank you Jason, you have made my head swim with the new changes.
So the Builder section is gone?
Did the archives template and sitemap template use to be in the Templates section? I cant find those now. Where would I locate those templates and any other built in templates?
Thank you, Mike

ParticipantI have done something similar to what Jason has suggested. See here: http://www.hibiscusbythebay.com/hibiscus-by-the-bay-sitemap/

ParticipantThank you Jason.
I have reviewed at your suggestion the video. However what is not clear to me is if I follow your instruction in option 2 will I loose any work or how the current page looks?
Applying the original template as a โstarting pointโ from the dropdown menu is what I am concerned about. I dont to wreck or loose the existing page.
I think I understand the idea of unsyncing the page from the template.
Is the idea so that you can then edit the pages layout from the same screen you had previously used to enter content?
If I understand this correctly this concept may benefit me in that I have created several templates for example and only one page per template uses each template.
Merry Christmas, Mike

ParticipantThank you so much Jason.
Yes it makes sense. Yes you maybe correct w/ regard to writing out custom html targeting prettyPhoto. things like rel=”themeblvd_lightbox” and img class=”pretty”. That is what I have been doing and I learned it well from you and the posts here. I was comfortable with it. I have a long set of notes I gleaned from the posts here that I refer to because I don’t live and breath this stuff like others and my old age adversely affects my memory. ๐
So thank you for your kind, thoughtful and thorough reply Jason. ๐
Happy trails, MikeP.S. Can the prettyphoto plugin and the auto lightbox be used concurrently or at the same time?

ParticipantThank you Jason.
I think I can keep track of things better if I use the Text tab and edit the html. Can you take my following examples and write out the short code so i have an idea as to what is correct?
<a title="Cycle ride" href="http://www.hibiscusbythebay.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/bikeride.jpg" rel="themeblvd_lightbox"><img class="alignleft wp-image-1176 pretty" style="margin: 10px;" title="Cycle ride" src="http://www.hibiscusbythebay.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/bikeride-154x300.jpg" alt="Cycle ride" width="92" height="180" /></a>
<a title="Redfish caught on Z-Man paddle tail" href="http://www.hibiscusbythebay.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/march-fishing-002e.jpg" rel="themeblvd_lightbox"><img class="size-medium wp-image-4445 alignright pretty" style="margin: 20px;" title="Redfish caught on Z-Man paddle tail" alt="April tides-March fishing report" src="http://www.hibiscusbythebay.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/march-fishing-002e-300x225.jpg" width="300" height="225" /></a>
Can the prettyphoto plugin and the auto lightbox be used concurrently or at the same time?
Where I get confused is your video talks about prettyphoto plugin and auto light box feature but you speak to Magnific Popup being part of the theme. I dont understand what is what. ๐
I also thought you were trying to move things out of the theme and make them plugins which to me would mean that using the prettyphoto plugin would be the correct course of action.
Do you get my drift?
Thank you, MikeMay 22, 2014 at 9:36 pm in reply to: Image title attribute not displaying text in lightbox popup #17094cowboymike
ParticipantI am so confused. I thought I was suppose to be using the prettyphoto plugin. ๐
Where is the Magnific plugin?
Can you tell in more detail on how I convert all my current prettyphoto light box images?
You said to replace “themeblvd_lightbox” with the light box short code. That’s quite a bit of work with 100 posts and a lot of prettyphoto lightbox images.
Do I enter the lightbox shortcode on wp image details screen form under “Advanced Options” in the box named “Link Rel” or do I have edit the html in the posts themselves?
Thanks Jason.

ParticipantJason, do you know of a plugin that will work with Alyeska that will accomplish the Google Authorship use?
Happy trails, Mikecowboymike
ParticipantThank you Jason for the kind reply and your time.
I updated to 3.1.1.
With 3.1.1 you solved the problem for the text area color on the 3rd party contact form. However, the text area in the 3rd party Newsletter sign up form is still white and therefore the inputted text can not be read.
See here in the right hand column: http://www.hibiscusbythebay.com/get-in-touch-hibiscus-by-the-bay/
Thanks, Mike
cowboymike
ParticipantWell I swear!
I rolled my site back to the 3.0.3 theme and ALL the text areas go back to the default gray theme color and i can read the text I input. After the 3.1.0 update the contact form and newsletter sign up form text areas are white so the imputed text can not be read because it is white as well.
I looked with code inspector and I could maybe change the text color for the text areas on the forms but I would prefer to have the text area background colors be the same as they were in 3.0.3. The code inspector wont let me change the background colors of the text areas but it will let me change the text color.
See here Jason: http://www.hibiscusbythebay.com/get-in-touch-hibiscus-by-the-bay/
Please let me know your thoughts.
