    Hi Jason,

    Thank you for your prompt response.

    Followed your guidance and created the calendar as a popup and it works fine on the page. For a bit of fun I put it in a Panel as well:

    [popup header=”Barker-Hudson Calendar” animate=”true” text=” Check Calendar” color=”danger” size=”default” icon_before=”calendar”] [dopbsp id=”2″ lang=”en”]
    [/popup]

    But the popup doesn’t work in a widget.

    I did follow your advice here: http://support.themeblvd.com/forums/topic/shortcodes-in-widgets-and-mobile-social-media/

    Both changing the code and trying it with “Shortcodes in Sidebar Widgets plugin” to no avail.

    Is it possible, as I would prefer the link in the widget, or should I forget the idea?

    Also one little thing I noticed was that the shortcodes for Icons does not include a Calendar icon. I would certainly request one if you thought to include it in a subsequent revision.

    Derek

    Dear Jason,

    Thank you for your advice which I have followed to effect most of the original look. See attached link: http://postimg.org/image/4gypjb40d/

    The last thing I am trying to do is “widen” the “yellow” right hand sidebar into the div class “row-grid protection” where there is additional unused space at the far right hand edge.

    But despite using Firebug, I cannot find where you set the actual widths?

    Any hints, please?

    Thanks Jason,

    That did it. All fixed.

    Hi Jason,

    Sorry didn’t have time to get on this, then saw you had updated to 3.1.2 so wanted to install first to see if it fixes the problem. Also read the posts to see others were having a similar issue: http://support.themeblvd.com/forums/topic/update-from-2-1-5-to-3-1-2-affects-content-width-footer-columns-and-background/

    Happy if you can suggest a better expression, I had just managed to get it to work.

    What I am trying to do is get rid of the “white column” on the left of the right had yellow sidebar. It only appeared after I had updated, see: http://www.medarbcentre.com/what-is-mediation/

    I do not know where to find the offending code.

    Thanks

    Thank you Jason,

    I have done that now.

    Even though I had great trepidation about updating, everything has gone smoothly. I followed your video procedure (I am using a child-theme with Alyeska) so FTPd the new 3.11 to Bluehost.

    The only problem I am having is with the setting of the side-bar widths.
    In the child-theme I have used the custom.css file to add the custom CSS. I am using:
    .sidebar_left #content { width:69.96%}
    .sidebar_right { width:26.04%}

    Because this is just a percentage, I think the problem must be in the overall width.

    At http://support.themeblvd.com/updating-to-framework-v2-4/ you also advise that:

    “The responsive tablet viewport cutoff size is now 992, when previously it was 979. So, if you’ve made any responsive CSS customizations be aware that you’ll want to find any instances of the following within your code:”
    Tablet viewport size @media (max-width: 979px) {
    And change it so that’s it 992: @media (max-width: 992px) {

    I have used Textwrangler to search for the size but cannot find any instance. Is there somewhere I can just reset the page width from (I am assuming) 979 to 992, so that the percentage split of the sidebars work properly again.

    Thank you.

    Jason, I am updating Alyeska from 3.03 to 3.11.

    Your support page on Envato states (http://support.themeblvd.com/updating-to-framework-v2-4/ and see below) to use the latest plugins. How can you find out what the version numbers of the latest plugins are?

    Thanks

    Sorry Jason,

    My slip up, the correct website address is http://www.medarbcentre.com

    You can see here there is a “gap” between the bottom of the “header” file and the next box below it. See https://www.dropbox.com/s/mhpjrhiwlx0oq3p/Remove%20space.pdf

    And here is the link in Dropbox to the screenshot showing the code on the left as it was and on the right as it is now. It seems that the highlighted line was previously deleted : https://www.dropbox.com/s/z10im7xgct879gm/Screenshot%202013-11-05%2007.28.54.png

    I would like to know what you told me to do before to remove this space.

    Thanks

    Hi tmws,

    In case others are struggling with the same issue, here is what I used:

    body { color: #000; }
    .boxed-layout .boxed-inner { color: #000; }
    .boxed-layout .element-inner { color: #000; }
    .post_grid { color: #000; }
    article { color: #000; }
    #comments .comment-body { color: #000; }
    #respond { color: #000;}
