Just noticed something peculiar. I can’t open up some widgets in IE8. Other browsers are fine however. Is concerning as client has IE8 and will be hard for them to maintain their site if they can’t access certain widgets in IE8. Mainly I am trying to access a custom homepage widget.
Hello,
You’re just talking about on the WordPress admin page, Appearance > Widgets? Have you gone though and disabled all plugins that add widgets to WordPress (whether they’re currently in a sidebar or not)? You want to run through and see what is adding conflicts to the Widget page.
Hi,
Yeah tried that already – usually the first thing I do as I’ve managed quite a few wp themes/installs before. It works in other browsers – just not IE8.
Also the right and left sidebar widget areas open and close without a hitch but the rest do not open at all….
