Tagged: sidebar, widget area
AKita is up to date, WP is 3.9.1 and I use WPML plugin.
Th problem is that I cannot assign any widget area for any pages besides default.
I can use only default sidebar (Right and Left sidebar) and Homepage (Builder) sidebar (Right).
Every times I tried to change sidebar for post, it affects home page.
Home page will be the same as post sidebar (widget).
Widget area, floating widget works fine (because I used them for homepage) but it seems having problem if it was right sidebar in Widget Area Location and selected post categories and category archives. I could delete not necessary widget coding in css but for clients, I must have “post widget (area)”. I couldn’t write code to assign post to have the widget area.
***Solved***
I realized after wrote this. Homepage sidebar is working because I assigned as Hierarchy and I changed post widget area to be not category but Hierarchy and it works now.
