Warning Illegal string offset with slider shortcode

I have Barely Corporate 4.1.8 installed and recently started getting the following error when using post grid slider shortcode.

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘all’ in /home/patriotg/public_html/wp-content/themes/barelycorporate/framework/includes/helpers.php on line 214

My shortcode:

[post_grid_slider fx="slide" nav_standard="true" categories="shower-projects" columns="3" rows="1" numberposts="9" orderby="post_date"]

Hi,

Instead of using the parameter “categories” try using “category_name” —

[post_grid_slider fx="slide" nav_standard="true" category_name="shower-projects" columns="3" rows="1" numberposts="9" orderby="post_date"]

Thanks, changing to category_name appears to have fixed it.
I figured it was something simple. I was looking for the documentation from the shortcodes plugin page, but the links are broken.
