Updating the Alyeska theme

I didn’t setup the Themeforest auto update so know I’m multiple versions behind. What’s the best way to get to the most current version of the theme? I’m at v 2.1.5

The in-dashboard updates were only added in version 3.0, so no worries there; you didn’t have that option anyway. To update the theme, you’re just doing it how you would any theme where you’d be downloading the theme from your ThemeForest Downloads page, and then uploading it to your server, replacing the old version.

See here under where it says “Manual Updates” —

And then specifically for going from Alyeska v2 to v3, this is the article you want to look at that tells you everything to make note of:

And in the future, even if you setup in-dashboard updates, make sure you’re looking at your changelog so you know if there’s anything you need to be aware of before updating. At Appearance > Theme Options in your WP admin, in the footer, you’ll see a link to your Alyeska Changelog, and then on bigger updates, you’ll often see a link to an article that tells you anything you need to be aware of, moving forward.
