Transparent Header over Portfolio Items

    Hi Jason,
Great (nothing short of miraculous) work on JS2.0 RC1.

I wish to use the Banner with the Transparent Header (that can be added to Posts or Pages) also on Portfolio Items.

When I use the Banner on Portfolio Items, I would like to turn off the regular site header and show the transparent header. I do this now with Posts and Pages by using the settings you have created. Will these settings also be coming soon in Portfolio Items, or should I try to build it? Or am I missing something…?

Also as I am developing (or hacking away trying to learn how to develop), I have found that the Post Sliders do not show the links to the postings on mobile or tablet. There are so many great post sliders that I may not remember which ones are not working, but I can not find one that works, so for now I am using the post grids which do have links on all three devices.

I can not tell you how much I love your work and am a fan because it would sound over the top. Anyway, you rock. Good luck with the next phase.

    Hello,

The latest update of the Portfolios plugin (March 3) has the Banner functionality worked into it.

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/portfolios/changelog/

Are you up-to-date with the plugin? Possibly hidden under “Screen Options” tab when editing a portfolio item?

However, the “Theme Layout” box (how you get the transparent header), is not available when editing a portfolio item. I’m not sure why this wouldn’t work. I’ll put it on the list to add for a future update.

I have found that the Post Sliders do not show the links to the postings on mobile or tablet.

I’m not quite sure what you mean here. Do you have a link to an example?
