    Hello,

I am missing Theme Options under Appearance. Any idea where it could have gone or what I can do to update my homepage?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

What kind of user-role account are you logged into in your WP admin? Have you made any customizations to the theme or your Child theme that would effect the theme options page, like this or this? Are you using Theme Blvd Admin Presence plugin, by chance? Is there possibly some other plugin that might conflict like the Options Framework plugin?

I am logged in as an admin. I haven’t made any changes to the child theme, however I did move all my content from one domain to another domain a while back. Perhaps this could be the culprit, but I also moved all the content again to a different site and Theme Options is still available on that one.

Sorry this may be a little confusing so here is an example. I first created a wordpress website with the Alyeska theme on testing.com. After I finished the test website, I moved all the content to real1.com. I then moved all the content again to a different domain, real2.com. Real1.com is missing Theme Options, but Real2.com is fine.

Plugins I am using are W3 Total Cache, Tablepress, and Jetpack.

I don’t see how any of this could have anything to do with the Theme Options page not showing up. If the theme has not been edited, and is activated, there will always a be a theme options page for the admin user-role.

There has to be something else you’re missing in this process. Ask yourself what’s different for the site that works versus the one that doesn’t. Maybe the theme wasn’t transferred fully by accident? Maybe you edited something in a theme file without realizing?

In other words, there’s no configuration you could setup in the WP admin that would hide the Theme Options panel. There has to be a mess-up somewhere in transferring the files, I would think?
