There are two paragraphs on my front page which are between tags

    http://venturecoffeetalk.com

As you can see, the first line of text of both paragraphs fades in the upper half. Is there a way to change this?

Also, is there a way to make the text of the menu selections bigger?

    Hello,

As you can see, the first line of text of both paragraphs fades in the upper half. Is there a way to change this?

This isn’t really a semantic way to use an <h2> tag, but if you have specific reason for doing this, see here for how to override with CSS: http://support.themeblvd.com/forums/topic/css-customizations-how-to-remove-the-gradient-on-header-tags/

Instead though, I’d suggest setting up your text more like this:

<p style="font-size:23px;">Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam.</p>

Or you could even take advantage of one of Bootstrap’s classes:

<p class="text-lead">Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam.</p>

Also, is there a way to make the text of the menu selections bigger?

Are you asking about the main menu of your site? This would only be possible through your CSS customizations. Unfortunately there is no user-option to change the font size of the main menu.

    Hello,
I have changed the background to a 200 kb image. Is this image cached in the browser for each new menu item click? It would be a shame if it had to load again each time someone navigates to a a new page or post. Any advice about this issue would be very appreciated. The site can be seen from the link at the beginning of this post.

It all depends on the individual user’s web browser and settings. But generally speaking, yes it is cached.
