Styling sidebar widgets

    Ok so I’m kind of new here and getting familiar with Jumpstart. I’ve posted a couple of questions today with quick and easy resolution, and thank you very much for the support.

    But I can’t figure this one out either. I’m trying to style the default right sidebar. In my child theme stylesheet I see the section on widgets but absolutely nothing is causing any effect. Even just adding to the existing classes is producing nothing. I have checked the classes in Firebug, and tried a variety of different classes like:

    .fixed-sidebar .widget { border-top: 1px solid red; }
    .fixed-sidebar .widget-inner { … }
    .widget-inner { … }
    .widget ul { … }

    …And nothing is having any effect… Stumped. Guidance well appreciated, thank you.

    Can I see a link to your site so I can see how all your CSS is setup?
