I still can’t reproduce. What version of Chrome are seeing this issue?
Version 44.0.2403.89 (64-bit)
wow, even more odd – I just did a restart, emptied my dns cache, emptied my history and cache in chrome…
same thing
then opened safari and same thing?… (Version 8.0.7 (10600.7.12))
then had the same results with both when using the hotspot from my AT&T phone…
I have an idea. Shot in the dark here… but hold on.
Try again.
weird right? still no good

I have no idea then. I haven’t done anything with SSL. There’s no https, in sight. It’s just a plain ‘ol link.
it is odd, everything works if I manually remove the ‘S’ from HTTPS
and every dropdown works except the ‘Builder’ dropdown
the slider does not load, only the .gif
and each link like: http://demoblvd.com/themes/jumpstart-2/demo-1/blog/list-blog/# inherits the https from somewhere, but if I remove the s it loads fine…and even then…same thing the builder dropdown does not fire on hover or click?
feel free to use the teamviewer creds if you want to troubleshoot?…
Where are you clicking through a link that has “https” on the URL? That’s the important question.
okay this is crazy…
when I mouse over any link, it has https…
when I right click and view source all of the links are http like they should be?
obviously when it adds the s I get a ton of console errors regarding non secure resources or can not GET etc…
what would cause this?
sorry for the bother this is clearly my machine and not your demo…this is the first time I have seen this.
my first thought is an extension in chrome…but then that deos not explain why safari does the same thing?
well, I got nuthin’…hahaha
I used app cleaner, deleted chrome, restarted computer, re installed chrome, signed in and synced…same thing
then rinse and repeat without the sign in and sync for chrome…
Just saw your reply, thank you for that, it did not work either?
maybe I need to revert to an older version of chrome, it is just the standard download version and not bleeding edge beta or anything.
I am now wondering if I have been chasing down anything caused by this not knowing the link between the ssl error in the browser?…
thank you so much for your time, sorry I took up so much of your support bandwidth for this : |
I am going to look into using safari for development possibly but chromes dev tools are the best as far as I know…
it is working in safari now…forgot to post that.
Herb, now this sounds like a personal problem. ha just kidding. Glad you figured it out!
