Sorting Options for Post Grid Paginated

Are there more sorting options for the Post Grid Paginated element in the layout Builder? I am using the element in a custom post type to display travel packages by country or interest (i.e. adventure, snorkeling), and the only options are Publish Date, Post Title, Number of Comments, and Random. None of them really apply, so I am defaulting to Post Title. I would love to be able to sort by duration (trip length), price, or one or more other custom fields. Is that possible?

Hi Alan,

This is where the custom query comes into play. Within the builder post grid’s custom query option, you are limited to a single string like foo=bar&foo2=bar2, and this limits to you to how you can actually setup your query with WordPress.

But if you checkout the following article, we have a sort of hack that will allow you to filter in a full custom query with no limitations.
