    hey jason,

    one short and quick question:

    – is it possible to place a carrousel slider into a div container and give this div an individual width?

    for a full width page we want to show the carrousel slider with a width of 80 % with 10 % marhin to each side, but it will be ignored.

    Yeah, sure that should do the trick. But out of all the sliders, that one doesn’t scale down as well as the others. So just be careful if you’re getting super narrow. You could just use the [slider] shortcode in some sort of content area and then wrap that in your DIV.

    hi jason,

    just tried something like this, but as mentioned it doesn’t work …

    <div id="80">
    [slider id="test-carroussel"]
    </div>

    do you have another idea?

    What does the id="80" part correspond to? Are you styling this ID somehow from your CSS?

    yes, something like that in custom css …

    #80 {width: 80%; margin-right: 10%, margin-left: 10%;}

    Hmm, I think that should work. Do you have a live example I could see?

    I think it’s that you can’t have an ID like this in CSS, that is just an integer. Not all browsers know how to link #80 to id="80". Try changing your ID to something that starts with letter characters like “my-slider”.
