Remove "X Comments" from Meta

Hello,
I believe you’re misunderstanding this option of the theme. This is referring to the comments and comment form on the single post below the post’s content.
To hide the comment number in the meta, you just need to disable comments on the post with the standard WordPress option.
Hi Jason,
We have a site where the posts have comments hidden.
But the META info above the post (in the list, and single post views) still shows the “X Comments” text/link — even though the comments option is set to HIDDEN.
Where can I edit the code to remove just that portion of the META output?
