Position of Slide title and its background

    Hi there,
    Firstly, I am loving Alyeska.
    Secondly I have gone through the 30 pages to try and spot this issue first before submitting a topic so apologies if this is already been asked.

    I want the slide title to be positioned top left and the background colour to be ‘lighter’.
    I don’t think Firebug is giving me the right bit of the stylesheet
    Could anyone point me in the right direction?
    Any help would be very appreciated.
    Many thanks,

    Hello Dom,

    The answer is always in your developer inspector. You want to use your inspector (i.e. Firebug or whatever) to locate the effecting CSS, and then just write CSS to override from your Child theme. In other words, you’re not necessarily looking for some stylesheet to go and edit. You’re just seeing how something is being effected, and then overriding it.

    Here is the selector I’m pulling from Firebug for you that you can use to target this area and change its background and positioning:

    .standard-slider .media-full .content { ... }

    And here’s how to find something like this in Firebug:

    Many thanks Jason that’s great and all sorted
