Portfolio setup

Hi, LOVE the theme so far, but still struggling a bit…

Couldn’t find a way to build separate portfolios – can this be accomplished (specifiying individual images to be used within a particular portfolio?)

Also, in the demo, there was a way to include videos in the portfolio… can you provide instructions on that as well (these would be videos uploaded to YouTube…?)

Hello,

Have you been able to crack open your user-documentation? This is all laid out pretty clearly with some video tutorial series. In your documentation, there is a video series called something like “The Classic portfolio” — Start there.

Or have you not found the documentation that comes with your theme or not understand how to open it? If that’s the case, just let me know.

Hi thanks for the response – I did go through the videos, and have already built a slider. The portfolio I’m referring to is the one that is set up like a grid using the Prettyphoto lightbox. I went through the tutorial, and understand how to implement a single image – but not sure how to build it set up in the grid format as you’ve done in the sample. Your sample also had a page1/page 2 selection to scroll to more images that didn’t fit in the first slide…

Thanks – sorry if I’ve missed it – overall the videos have been a godsend – really thorough job of explaining the process – I’d recommend these themes to anyone!!

I’m a little confused. I feel like there may be some sort of miscommunication here. Did you watch the video series called “The Classic Portfolio” that talks all about how post grids work? Did you watch all four videos?

Jason – I apologize – I’ve viewed all of the videos on the page where I purchased the theme:

These weren’t part of that… is there another place where video tutorials are housed? These are perfect for what I need for this, just wondering if I’ve missed any other useful info…

So, from ThemeForest you originally downloaded a ZIP package. When you unzipped it there was the file arcadian.zip which you should have installed as the theme. Also there was a folder called “documentation” and inside that, a file called index.html — Just open this in your web browser.
