Paralax Feature Image with Custom Layout

It looks like when you use the paralax featured image paired with a custom layout, the paralax image is stretched behind all of the elements.
    – Ex: http://lifeondirt.com/imagery/

When paired with a pre-made template, the paralax image seems to be contained above the content.

Is there a way to force the paralax image to be contained when combined with a custom layout?

    Hi,

In your custom layout, you need to setup a background for your section containing the elements. By default, it’s going to be transparent.

On your custom layout’s section containing the content and post showcase elements, click to edit the “Display Options” — This is the little image icon at the top right corner of the section. Then, within your section’s display option select for the background to be a color, and select the color you want (most likely white so it looks like other pages).

    Does that make sense?

Perfect sense. That did it. Thanks!
