[Bug w/Fix] Page title not displaying on custom layout pages

Somewhere along the line, we lost the page title, I discovered today. (entry_title).
In Swagger, there is an option on the page ‘Show page title’ so that the page title is shown even with a custom template. However, that title does not show on pages/custom template (they are shown on default template pages, posts & products). Featured area is either missing or empty, on a custom template.

I use Swagger 2.1.9.2 (child theme) with Theme Blvd Framework 2.4.5 on this website, plus Woocommerce. It’s been a while since I worked on Swagger, so maybe I’m overlooking the obvious.

    Hi,

No I don’t think you’re missing anything. It looks like there’s a bug in the theme, that being that when the featured area is empty, the title doesn’t show.

Here’s a workaround that I just figured out, that seems to be working on my end. — Add a Content element to the featured area and then add the CSS class “hide” to it in the last option, CSS Classes. This will just spit out a blank content element, that is then hidden with CSS. But the featured area not being empty, will allow that title to show.

    Workaround works fine, thanks.

FYI, on the basic Woocommerce catalog (subcategory/product) page, the pagetitle isn’t showing in the featured area as well, using standard template. It does so on shopping cart & account pages.
