I have the latest version of Theme Blvd Shortcodes 1.4.1, but can’t figure out here the lightbox shortcode generator is…do I have to add this manually?

    Hello,

It’s just disabled by default now. Go to Settings > Writing > Theme Blvd Shortcodes in your WP admin to enable it.

So I have to “auto” enable lightbox? Any way to code the lightbox without shortcode so that images reduce responsively? The issue with auto enable is a width seems to have to be included and this overrides the scaling. For example if I have a full width image in the main content with a sidebar and that includes lightbox, the image will not reduce when the screen size is reduced and the image overlaps the sidebar.

Yup, the [lightbox] is not included in the shortcode generator. The “Auto Lightbox” feature is what allows you to quickly insert an instance of the lightbox shortcode. Putting the [lightbox] shortcode in the shortcode generator would be confusing because the user would need the URL of different image files, which they would not have access to from there.

So, just delete the width attribute or any other attributes you don’t want in there after the [lightbox] shortcode is inserted.

Even with an fixed width set, this shouldn’t technically happen. Can I see a live example of where this happens?

On the page you’re linking to, I’m not seeing the issue. Can you setup an example where the image is hanging outside the container of the page as you described, previously?

    If you scale: http://trbotalkwireless.com/coverage-2/
    the main image doesn’t reduce.

Aw, I see now. I wasn’t seeing before because I was looking at the site in Chrome, not Firefox, which your screenshot appears to be in.

I think the issue is just because when you’re inserting the image, you’ve selected for it to be aligned left. Because the image is floated to the left, this is why in Firefox it doesn’t scale right. So try not aligning the image to the left. You want no alignment because you’re intending it to be its own block of content, opposed to having text wrap around it. Does that make sense?

Great, that works….good to know what the issue was!
