Issues w/centered logo and background colors and textures, WordPress 4.2 update

I updated a customers site that uses the Akita theme with the latest update and even though I am using the child theme some of the customization are no longer working.

1. You provided me with the following code to center the logo: (it is no longer centered)

#branding .header_logo {
    float: none;
    text-align: center;
}
#branding .header_logo .tb-image-logo img {
    display: inline;
}

2. I chose a color for the background with the grunge option and even though both options are checked the background on the site is white and cannot be changed to something else.

Hello,

This isn’t from the theme update, but from updating your site to WordPress 4.2, which was released a few hours ago. I’ve currently got an update to the theme (v2.1.8) in the ThemeForest queue that will fix this issue. It should be live within the next 12 hours, so you can update on your site.
