Multiple (14) image sizes

I am looking in my uploads folder and see that there are multiple image sizes – 14 in all (usually it’s only 3 in WordPress). Why does Alyeska generate these? The unused sizes are starting to take up a lot of disc space. How can I stop them from being generated?

Hi,

As with most commercial themes, our’s does add several crop sizes. These crop sizes are used for various features in the theme, but feel free to remove any crop sizes you feel you don’t need. This will be a customization you’ll need to make to the theme, but you can do this very easily from your child theme’s functions.php.

Here’s a full list of the crop sizes and instructions on how to remove them:

Remember to regenerate your thumbnails after making any changes to registered crop sizes.
