Okay two things i want to ask.

1 – is there a way to make the last menu item not have the trailing verticle separator? the last menu item does not need the vertical separator and on my site it actually looks stupid there.

2- is there a way to incorporate a different menu system, such as UberMenu or MegaMenu? The added space and what-nots of the drop down make those pretty desirable in most situations.

These will be customizations you’d need to make to the theme. Please remember that free support does not include providing customizations and supporting 3rd-party plugins. We do have great customization partners, though, at WerkPress.

    1) For CSS changes, it’s a good idea to use a tool like firebug or Google Chrome’s built-in developer tools to locate them and then put the edits either in your child theme or in the “Custom CSS” option on your theme options page.

In terms of your question, the dividers are attached to the list <li> items of the main menu as a background image. So, you’ll want to use your inspector to find the appropriate selector for these list items with your style configurations, and then possibly target the last one with CSS pseudo element to set the background-image to none (that could be one approach).

Also, here’s a helpful tutorial on how to use Firebug – The only thing I’d suggest not doing is actually making edits to the theme’s CSS files, as it shows at the end of that video. However, the video serves as a good introduction to Firebug and how it can be used to find what CSS is effecting certain areas of your site without ever digging around in any files.

    2) I am honestly not all that familiar with these plugins, but I’d imagine it’s possible. I have seen before where UberMenu even has some specific instructions about this theme. I honestly have never personally experimented with any of it though.
