IE 8 and IE 7 fix

I am using Alyeska WP theme and IE 7 and IE 8 are not displaying my site properly. Do you have a suggested “fix” for the display problem? I searched the web and found many forum discussions and code fixes out there. Thought I would check here before adding anything.

Hello,

First off, keep in mind that the theme does not support IE7. However for IE8, you’re experiencing several problems with the areas where you’re inputting your own custom HTML. You’ll want to go through and double check all of these places.

For example, here’s something I noticed that’s really going to cause problems in IE. These three boxes on your homepage where you have

, you’re opening them up and then instead of closing them, you’re opening up another set.

So instead of this:

Your Title

You’re doing this:

Your Title

Many other web browser can tell what you’re *trying* to do, but IE simply cannot. So, you need to make sure you’re valid correct HTML markup in these places.
