Https issues with Slider/Theme

    Hey J,

I am having an issue with your swagger theme where the slider images are forced https when wp-admin is forced https. I can’t figure out how to control this through the admin panel, but it would really help to get this solved b/c its slowing down my site… As you will notice,, the homepage slider images are https calls and the page is not forced https.

I checked through your forums and around the web, but haven’t come across anything helpful yet. Please let me know if you need anything to help me figure this one out. Your time is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

I’m not totally sure on that one.

One thing to note about the slider is that URL’s are saved at the time you save the slider so they don’t need to be queried every time your site loads. So, when a slider is saved, the URL’s to the images at that time are what’s saved for the entire slider. Then those images URL’s get used every time the site loads.

As a workaround, would it be possible to turn off forcing the admin to SSL temporarily, just to save the slider one time? I’m not really sure what else you could do.

That seems to have fixed it for now! Thanks a bunch. I’ll keep this in mind as I keep on truckin’. It kind of sucks if I have undo https each time I want to change out slider images though… I’ll update you if I find a solution. Thanks so much for your time and awesome work!
