How to setup footer columns like in demo

Hey I’d like to get the same footer widgets appearing side by side like you having going on in the demo site (i.e. from twitter, recent posts, custom content, get in touch). But when i try to fill up a footer widget they are just listed down below each other and not side by side in neat little columns.

I’ve checked out all your tutues on widget areas and the builder but I cannot figure it out. Can you help me out?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Each footer column requires a separate widget area. These are setup from your Theme Options page.

You can see how I have the options setup for the footer here: http://themeblvd.com/demo/assets/akita/theme_options_layout.png

And here’s what’s in the three floating widget areas I created under Appearance > Widget Areas: http://picturestack.com/123/892/xT2ScreenShotjkU.png

See the Widget Area manager section of your documentation for more information on working with custom widget areas and floating widget areas.
