First Featured Image Not Clickable with Featured Image Link Override plugin

Hi Jason,

A little bit of strange behaviour… the featured image of the most post recent post is no longer linked to the post, this happens on the homepage in the post slider, and on the blog index. Again, it’s only the most recent post demonstrating this, if we add a new post, it happens again and all other posts/featured images are fine (even the ones that weren’t functioning as expected).

We’re using the latest version of the theme, and the latest version of all themeblvd plugins.

Can you help please?

Hi Ross,

By default, featured images do not link anywhere. When editing a post, you set the featured image link for that post.

Now, are you using our featured image link override plugin to create automatic featured image links? — There was a big update to that plugin on December 15; so if the issue you’re describing is with this plugin installed, that recent update might be the cause of your issue.

So, are you using that plugin? And can you also provide a link that shows the issue so I can try and replicate the issue on my end?

Yup, looks like I got it. In the future, make sure to reply on your topic if you ever send info privately. I don’t check it regularly, unless someone tells me they’ve sent something there.

All right, so I looked into it and was able to produce the issue on my end, as well. I posted an update today, and I think I was able to work out the issue. So, go ahead and update the plugin, and let me know if you’re still seeing odd behavior with it.
