Featured image on pages

When I add a featured image to posts I get a nice full width framed version at the top of the post.
I can’t seem to get this om pages though. The featured image doesn’t show up on pages, and if I instead insert a full width image straight into the post it doesn’t behave the same way, or have a nice frame?

Hello,

No apologies, but I do not put featured images in the content of pages for any of my themes. To achieve a similar effect, you could just insert the image at the top of your page and then add the class “pretty” to it in order achieve the effect of the frame.
