Fatal error when trying to navigate between pages of formidable form.

This may be similar to the issue I was seeing in an earlier post: (http://support.themeblvd.com/forums/topic/fatal-error-themeblvd_include_google_fonts/), but I am not sure.

I am using Formidable forms and within an HTML block have used the shortcode
[divider style=”shadow”]. This seems to work fine with a 1 page form, but if I use a 2 page form (where there is a “next” and a “previous” button to switch between pages) I get the following error when I try to navigate from 1 page of a form to another.

“Fatal error: Call to undefined function themeblvd_divider() in …/wp-content/plugins/theme-blvd-shortcodes/includes/shortcodes.php on line 357”

I have applied the fixes from the before mentioned post, and the preview IS working with that fix. But I need to use paged forms now, and cannot get this to work cleanly.

Is there anything I can do to help this?

(I have the latest Barely Corporate theme(4.1.5) and shortcode (1.5.3) version installed.)

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi,

Does the paged form use AJAX to switch between pages? Meaning do you switch pages of the form without the entire website having to reloading? This could be an incompatibility between the plugin and the theme. If it’s going out and making some sort of AJAX request, it’s possible not all of the theme is available. Very hard to speculate, though.

Yes, I am pretty sure it is with ajax.

Is there any info I can get you that would help in a solution?

The theme just currently isn’t setup to run these functions when processed through AJAX. There’s nothing you can really do about that. — But do you need to use the shortcode? Does your form builder allow you to put in HTML? You could just look out how the [divider] shortcode outputs, and then paste that HTML into your forum builder.

That was my plan too if things didn’t work out – I was just trying to limit the customizations and allow myself the use of Themeblvd’s shortcodes within the HTLM blocks of the form.

Thanks for expediting finding the problem and a possible solution.

In playing with this today, I found that Formidable has a checkbox setting in a form’s General Settings labeled “Submit form with AJAX” . By deselecting this, I was also able to avoid the error. So thanks for pointing me in a good direction.
