    Hey Jason (et al),

I just noticed my JP1 license is up for expiration, so I went a’hunting for the JP2 in the Forest.
Any ballpark on when it will be available? (Yes, I know this is an annoying question) (Sorry)

Looking forward to the see this new Hero Unit you speak of.

    Matt

    Hey guys,

No, trust me I understand the frustration and mystery behind all of this. And just know that I’m working my hardest, and have frustrations of my own 😉 — The reviewers at ThemeForest didn’t agree on some aspects about Jump Start and have asked to redesign certain elements. Overall they didn’t like how “framework” bare-bones the WordPress aspects were (i.e. like main blogroll, comments, single post, widgets, etc) — They wanted more of a unique (or finished) design and less default Bootstrap elements.

If you clear your browser cache, and checkout the default demo, today I’ve actually posted the updates I’ve been working on the last few weeks. So I’m just hammering out some details here and getting ready to post again to ThemeForest, which I’ll then have to wait about 4-7 days for the next step.

How kickass is that fullscreen flexslider supporting video and images. Thanks for the update Jason, amazing work.

Apparently IE doesn’t agree with the full screen video in the slider! Last thing I have to work out before re-packaging and submitting to ThemeForest again.

Yeah, it doesn’t. The fallback looks great.

Do you have some thoughts on what the issue might be?

I’m think the video doesn’t play because of something to do with the actual file, not the theme. I host the video on Amazon S3, and will probably first mess around with this: https://foliovision.com/player/fix-amazon-mime-type

But the bigger issue (currently looking at IE10), that I’m not sure about, is that the video container itself and how it’s positioned is overflowing past 100% width causing horizontal scrolling. Also it’s messing with the horizontal height (that’s supposed to be the viewport height).

In IE10, when I view that homepage hero slider, the one with video container is all janky, and then when you rotate to the other two slides, everything is fine.

Based on the console error Im receiving I think you are correct about the Mime type. So that shouldnt be to difficult to resolve.

Since there is no video, I cant really comment on the latter. Win7 / IE9+ looks great as mentioned previously.

Yeah for me in IE10, there’s no video, but the weird thing is that the empty <video> container throws things out of whack… I’m thinking it’s some sort of CSS overflow issue. Or it could be an issue coming from the fact that it’s trying to load a video it can’t, and then messing up the <video> tag.

Hmm I cant seem to replicate this using IE developer tools emulation.

Well I’m glad that works on your end, anyway. — If you clear your browser cache, can you get the video to play now on your end? I just tried changing the metadata as that article described.

No video, however no console errors either.

IE9/10 is displaying video. Congratulations. What was the solution?

Is it possibly a caching issue with your browser? The full screen stuff after my recent changes should be disabled in ie9 but it isn’t in your screenshot. Should look like this:

Cleared the cache and hasn’t updated. Though this was the similar issue with the Video. So might be my end.

I went to my account settings and clicked “renew license” and I got a “themeblvd” landing page about maintenance.

My money is no good here…. 🙁
