    Hi,

Can you please paste the exact error message you’re getting? Or post a link to a screenshot, if that’s easier?

What you’re having an issue with is just that the default WordPress importer simply isn’t working in your server environment.

While we hook in and do some extra stuff after the process is finished to complete the setup of the site, what we have provided is just a export XML from our live demo using the default WordPress exporter at Tools > Export, and then you’re importing that into your site through the default WordPress importer plugin at Tools > Import. Your site is failing to import anything before any themeblvd actions have occurred. The last error message related to themeblvd is just a side effect of the ones before it, because the menu post types didn’t import properly.

Is it possibly a server setup issue? Are you able to export another XML file from WordPress and have it successfully import?

I’m also wondering if the XML file is simply too large for your server, as this is a very large file we’re working with here (maybe more so than your average site). So, maybe a memory consumption issue on your server’s PHP?

And this is a bit of a stretch, and I can’t imagine why this would be the issue for you, but have you tried putting your site into English initially for the import process?

    Hi,

    Thanks for help.

Actually, I have no technical expertise. Could you please do me a favor and check that.

    Thanks

Do you know how to put your WordPress install back to English? Can you do that and send me a login to your WordPress admin? You can send the info privately here: http://support.themeblvd.com/submit-private-information/

I can’t promise anything, but I can try. You may have to end up contacting your web host or whoever has setup your site and explain to them that the WordPress import process is not working.

All right, so I was able to confirm there is some kind of issue on your server with the WordPress importer. It may not seem all that relevant at the moment since we’ve moved passed the immediate issue, but if you’re going to move forward with your current hosting, you may want to figure this out with them. The basic functionality of exporting and importing may come in handy down the road.

Anyway to confirm the issue, I created a very small export XML file from your site. It contained only two standard posts. When I tried to import it, I got this:

So, I googled about the issue, and ended up following this solution, where it basically says that if you ZIP the XML file a certain way, it will work. And luckily, that allowed it to work on your server.

Anyway, the demo data should be all setup now on your site.
