Custom Theme Base

What is the best way to add a custom theme base to ensure it works after an update?

Can it be added to the child theme, or does it need to live in the jumpstart theme?

Hi Curtis,

Great question! I just went ahead wrote a tutorial for this:

Let me know if this doesn’t work or there are any problems. Extending the theme bases is all pretty new and hasn’t really been covered with any customers yet.
