Hi! Just wondering what the color of the standard “red” button is in the theme? Thanks!

    Hello,

What version of the theme are you using?

Note: You can see your current theme version by going to Appearance > Themes and looking at the details of your currently active parent theme.

Hi! I’m using a child theme of it, but have version 3.0.0 as well. Has the red color changed from any updates? Our website is http://www.HEROFargo.org and the red color is on the donate button if that helps any.

Things have come quite a ways since 3.0.0. We’re now on version 4.0.2:

So, in your version, it’s a little harder to say what the exact color is because the button has a background color of #770, however there’s then a transparent white shade PNG over top to give it the gradient look.

In the current version, we’ve re-written the CSS but for the buttons completely. There’s now an actual CSS3 gradient on the red button that runs from #a7170c to #490502 (top to bottom).

Hi! Thanks for the information. So is #770 the PMS color of the red for version 3.0.0?

Also, what would the CMYK, RGB, & HEX numbers be for the base red color?

So, #770000 (#770 in its simplest form) would be the hex value behind the white transparent PNG. This is generally what is used when writing CSS. You can convert that to whatever values you need.
