Category List – subcategories not indenting

  • Creator
  • #1321

I’ve noticed that on the homepage of my site, and on most other pages that the sub-categories do not indent like they do on this single post page

Ive tried to play around with Firebug, having identified that on the single post page it uses the “children” class but not on the others. Assume its a simple code fix? 🙂

    Thanks Jason

Are you sure it’s not something in how you’ve setup your categories widget? I don’t think it’s any kind of CSS or theme issue; it just looks like the widget on the homepage isn’t showing the children categories at all.

For example, on the homepage, I can see where it says General Motors but then when you look at the single post page, you’ve got Buick, Chevrolet, and Pontiac beneath it.

… Possibly something to do with the “Show hierarchy” setting of this default WordPress widget?

(thank you Jason – I’m such a dummy)
