cannot use visual editor or insert media item post 3.5 upgrade

There are a few people reporting this in the WP support forums – no one seems to have an answer – so I thought I would ask you Jason if you have come across anything like this?

when editing a post clicking on the ‘visual’ tab in the editor does nothing, also when inserting media from the new improved library setup you go through the steps, click insert into post, it goes back to the post page but has done nothing.

I have tried both Chrome and FF but nothing works.

Sorry, I honestly have no idea on that one. I haven’t had any issues with WP 3.5 and inserting media on my end.

I’ve had the same issue within the Slides pages. Some of the WordPress buttons broke after updating to 3.5: Add Media, switching to the Text/HTML view tab, Edit URL, Add Gravity Form button.

@dfsesq I would run through all WordPress plugins you have installed and try disabling them to try and see what’s causing the issue with WP 3.5.
