Adding a new slider (Layer Slider)

Hi,
I would like to “upgrade” or add another slide type into Alyeska. I would like to add animation to text blocks and so on…

Do you know of any Slider-Plugins that works with the theme? I’ve been over at Code Canyon and looked at a couple (Layer Slider 3, Royal Slider). Or do you have any plans to add new slides in any upcoming upgrade 😉

Any thoughts? Any pointers?

Hello Daniel,

I’m not quite sure how to answer that. Any kind of 3rd-party plugin you find would have its own way of being implemented into your website. I really can’t say which plugins out there will work or not work, as I’ve honestly never really experimented with other people’s plugins in regards to sliders. In general, though, you’re going to find things are much more limiting in regards to sliders trying to create a responsive website.

Hello Daniel – I did buy and installthe Layer Slider from Code Canyon with Alyeska – It works like a charm, no issues at all. Only one quick tweak to the php file – rest all you need to do is insert the short-code where you want the layer slider to show up.

Alyeska is a very flexible theme – Kudos to Jason!!!
