Manual Updates

For making manual updates to the theme, you can download the latest version of the theme from your Downloads page at themeforest.net, while logged into the account you used to make your purchase.

Go to My Account > Downloads, download the installable theme ZIP, unzip it, and upload the resulting “theme-name” folder to /wp-content/themes/ of your WordPress installation.

In-Dashboard Updates

Starting with themes containing Theme Blvd Framework v2.3, you can receive in-dashboard updates through your WordPress admin panel directly from Envato servers.

Here’s how to set things up. –

  1. Obtain an Envato API key.
Login to the account at themeforest.net that you’ve purchased the theme with. Then go to {Username} > Settings > API Keys to generate and retrieve an API key for your account.

  2. Input your Envato username and API key.
From within your WordPress admin panel, where you’ve installed the theme, go to Appearance > Updates, and input the information.

  3. Update notifications.
When an update is available from Envato servers, you will see a notice under Appearance > Themes to make the update.

  4. Note: Remember that the check for updates is cached, and so generally you will not see update notices instantly. Please allow 24 hours for update notices to show up after they’ve been posted.
