    Thanks for the info.

There seems to be a minor error in the Slider Manager. Thought I would put my Edu videos in a Slider I had already begun to set up. Am aligning them Right and selecting Video as type. However after the upgrade I am now NOT getting the option to put Headline, etc in – get this message below even though I have NOT selected full size. I can work around this however when I initially select Image as type, fill in Headline, etc and then select Video as type and update slider – it works. For some reason not letting me do this directly with video type…am pretty sure I was able to when I initially set this up before upgrade…? (hope this makes sense)

You cannot have any elements on top of full-size video. If you’d like to include elements, align the video to the right or left.

Question: I have re-installed the newest parent Akita. If I re-activate this theme, is the php file going to “break” again? I don’t want to have to contact DH to reset this install again. thanks

Whew! I did it. The php didn’t give me any problem at all…what did cause me a bit of an issue was that all my widgets were shoved down one level – not placed in Inactive, just moved down. For instance the Footer #1 widgets were placed in Footer #2, the Right Sidebar widgets were shoved down into Ads Above Content…etc. That gave me the biggest problem until I figured out what was going on. Don’t know if it had to do with the fact I’d already set up Widget Areas & had used the Builder or not, but though you might want to know that, maybe mention it on the “scary list”! Looks like things are back to where they were…now if I can just get this website-from-youknowwhere finished! 🙂

Thanks for your help on this!

Hi Jason – sorry this has taken so long but am ready to try this. I’ve never messed w/php files before…but I can certainly copy & paste. But please tell me WHERE to paste the code snipit in step #3 in the link you gave me – I would think it matters exactly where??
    thanks,

Okie dokie – here’s a couple for starters:
    1) have custom pages show up in Builder/New Layout/Starting Point so that you can tweak an existing custom page but don’t want to mess with an existing custom layout.
    2) have a global default setting for “do not show page title” – perhaps under Theme Options/Main – same section where you select show breadcrumbs or not.

    more as I think of them… 🙂

Hold on – I think I may have this figured out… will repost here if I’m still having problems. (you know that “thing” about submitting a ticket then things seem to work right… :-))
