    Ahh, my English 🙂 … I thought you commented that line just for this purpose because the forum cannot include the pre tag… I now see it doesn’t make sense.

    All cool now. Thanks!

    Sorry Jason to bring this again, but something is wrong here. The cause is this line:

    echo ‘-pre-‘; print_r($options); echo ‘-/pre-‘;
    (Just the pre tag goes the usual way)

    When the full code is placed including that line, the site is loading Theme options code before the site. Here’s the image:
    http://s3.amazonaws.com/img-img-img/111.jpg

    The site will load after, but that code is present, as you can see.

    When I omit that line everything is fine, descriptions I want to edit are edited and site is loading without any errors.
    I wonder should I use the same code just without that line. Would that cause some issues down the road?

    i.e. the code would be:

    function my_formatted_options( $options ) {

    	$options['start_section_blog']['desc'] = 'something ...';
    	$options['homepage_custom_layout']['desc'] = 'something ...';

    	return $options;
    }
    add_filter( 'themeblvd_formatted_options', 'my_formatted_options' );

    Yeah I understand it won’t bring many advantages, I was just trying to increase the yslow score.
    Font awesome files do have problem loading from the most CDN or NGINX servers. Netdna CDN doesn’t has this problem and I thought loading it from there may be a good idea.

    However, as you suggested, I’ll just let it go as it is.

    I was on the right path since that’s exactly what I was trying. It’s true, it will work if I want to edit the footer_copyright or similar option. The problem is that I wanted to edit the description of 2 sections which doesn’t seem to be editable this way.

    Here’s exactly what I wanted to edit:
    1. The first problem is that editing won’t work for Section description (e.g. for Single Posts or Primary Posts Display). Their IDs are ‘single’ and ‘blog’, so I tried:
    themeblvd_edit_option( 'content', 'blog', 'desc', 'something...' );

    It doesn’t work. I see that ‘desc’ won’t reference here, it must be something else, but I cannot see what.

    2. Other thing I wanted to edit I also cannot accomplish. I wanted to edit the description when the ‘Custom Layout’ is selected for the Homepage content.
    I.e.
    Select from the custom layouts you've built under the Builder section.

    They won’t be building anything so it may be confusing :-).

    I’ve realized the reason I cannot find the ID of this option is because this option is actually added by the Builder plugin.

    That’s great Jason. Bringing your child themes is even better in my opinion than marketplace.
    Any time-frame? Nothing pushy, just would like to know if possible, this year, next year, what’s the basic plan.

    I’ve also noticed a problem with license activation, but I can also confirm that is working fine now 🙂

    @Herb The first 2 paragraphs you wrote in the previous comment was quite enough. When you started talking to me directly, I see you’ve tried hard to sound as a smart ass and you think you’ve hit the point, but I have to say it’s stupidest thing I read for a long time.

    I understand the forum is public, but in essence this is the support system, so I’ll appreciate and I’m quite happy to receive only answers from the developer on the direct questions unless we want to start assessing each others mentality here and the way we drive cars.

    Just to say that everything is fine, earlier I’ve placed a bit of css code that was blocking the widgets for the home page. It’s good now.

    Unfortunatelly it isn’t posibble since it’s on the localhost. I doubt I’ll be able to put this on the live server in the short time. I’ll tell you when I do, probably during the next week.

    Karlo, if you pay attention you’ll notice I’ve said “In the example were we are changing the domain”. So it’s just the example, I do not intend to change the domain that way but was sticking to the example Jason was using to eliminate the confusion. The trurh is that I wasn’t changing the domain, since I was changing the hosting as I said in the OP. So I didn’t have to change the localhost to the live domain, but I still edited the sql file and it was enough to lose the Builder data. There are plenty of things you can edit in the database. I know it isn’t a big deal installing aditional plugins, but sometimes is annoying especially when you used to quicker process.

    I thought that I was getting updates on the site where I haven’t activated the license, but have just checked and those were updates for the themeblvd plugins. My fault regarding that, you are completely right, there are no updates for the Jumpstart theme on the site where the license isn’t activated.

    Regarding the renewal… everything would be great if the current activation key stays valid after the member pays for the additional year. If that’s the completely other key we have to enter again every year that isn’t maintenance friendly.

    I’m familiar with those tools Karlo is mentioning and have used them, but I also find it as additional process. I haven’t yet try the one Jason is referring to.
    I also know that widgets won’t be replicated but didn’t expect this for the JS builder data. I’ve had just to adjust elements for 2 pages and I’ve had the data on the localhost, so it wasn’t a big deal that’s why I called it “small nightmare”.

    I’m not a developer, trying to focus mainly on the webmaster/design part, and I do not know is there other way to code it. If there’s no other way then ok, but if there’s the other way I see this as a bad practice.

    However discussion is usually constructive and reading what Jason wrote I realize that all will stay intact if the character count stays the same, which may be of help in some instances. In the example were we are changing the domain, if the domain is the same length WordPress serialized data won’t be interrupted. Am I realizing this well?

    So we’ll have to reenter the license for every site we create every year. I think this beats the purpose of the framework. I have to cut the things that are unnecessary taking my time. I think I’ll be using the Jumpstart then just for the sites where clients will be managing their sites by themself and will emailing them with the new license.

    Any chance of coming with other model? I know that many other theme/framework developers simply cut the support if you do not renew the license.

    On the other side currently I do not see the purpose of Jumpstart licensing, since I am receiving the updates even on the sites where I haven’t entered the license.

    Interesting that didn’t work while I was trying last evening, but it works now.
    Obviously I was tired and messed the code.

    Thanks once more time.

    Hi Jason,

    neither of that. Your answer forced me to explore further, I’ve had some stricter rules inside of the .htaccess file.
    It is working now. Thanks for taking time.
