i mean that it appears as protected by Wishlist Member, even though there is no way of adding that protection using WLM.
I’ve tried turning plugins off and there appears to be no common cause at all. Hence my original post.
I’m in contact with WLM support and they, hopefully, will be able to see something I have missed. I was posting this to try and cover al my bases by making sure there was nothing I cold add to the search.php to ensure it always showed, no matter what.
If you go to discoveringdowsing.com and use the search box (try ‘pendulum’), you’ll see what I mean.

The alterations I was trying to make to a page simply weren’t working, but I think that cause was due to a server meltdown as the site went crazy and offline for hours before it could be fixed.
The server is up and running again and everything now seems to be working fine. i can have a full width page, no sidebar, graphics show up and everything is back to what it should be.
So i guess it was just a precursor to the server having a psychotic episode.
Sorry to bother you, but the total failure didn’t happen until some hours after posting, and that was some hours after trying to sort things out on my end…
    Hey ho…

I will do so, but it will be somewhere down the line as I’m right in the middle of re-designing another website entirely and working on a launch. 🙂 (Good to be busy!)
But I really do appreciate your work on this.

Yes, the issue goes away…thanks for catching that. So, what’s the next step? I like the permalinks the way they were….. 🙁

    Sadly, no.

I can get the posts to show using the paginated grid in the builder and pulling them from a category and they show up fine there.

Should the URL (using the Portfolio) have domainname.com/item/postname, rather than domainname/postname?

    Thanks

Thanks, Jason. I appreciate your help in this. I knew it was a long shot 🙂

I like the theme too much to change it just for a plugin.

OK, fair enough. But are you aware of plugins which do not work with your theme and which should be avoided? Or does anyone else on the forums know that?
I’d love to keep using the theme, but I need that extra functionality, especially with Black friday looming 🙂

    Ah! Thanks for that!

So, finally, before I go and leave you in peace, is there a specific way I can address that section on the page in the style sheet?

Thanks again for taking the time to answer. Much appreciated.

    Thanks,

Not sure why that plugin would NOT have bullets . De-activating it is not an option, so I’ve just altered that code to show bullets.

Thanks for pointing it out to me.

As a side note, why would the other style sheet take precedence in just that area?? If you have time to answer it, I’d be grateful as it would help my understanding of the processes involved.

But, why would that be the case? I’m not sure I understand why this is happening. I understand that it is happening and that a different style sheet is being accessed, but why and what can be done about it?

By the way, thanks for the speedy reply.

    Hi there,

It’s at http://discoveringdowsing.com just beneath the slider. There should be 4 bullet points beneath where it says
Discovering Dowsing is THE place to:
