Thanks for the reply but I solved the problem. I have two WordPress sites and I was accidentally working on one and then tried to view the other. The reason the theme didn’t show the changes was because none were made. I was expecting WordPress to do the impossible.
I’m sorry I took up your time for such a silly mistake.
The problem has corrected itself. I was using the Link Widget by Pankaj Biswas and I set the number of links to 6. I only used 5 of the links and left the 6th one blank. Once I added the 6th link the second footer moved to where it was supposed to.
Thank you!August 6, 2014 at 9:15 am in reply to: Text in slogan element on dark style is unreadable #18103
I just placed the css in the box in theme options and it worked beautifully. Thanks for your help.

Jason, I just sent you an email from the Themeforest website. I didn’t want to post my website in this forum.
I think I solved the problem. I changed the slider size from 920 x 346 to 920 x 344 and uploaded it to the slider. Then I went into the Builder and clicked on the update button. After that the other slides appeared without me having to upload them again. In other words, just reuploading the first slider caused the other sliders to reappear. I know it sounds weird but this is exactly what happened. Thanks for your help and thanks for creating Alyeska. I really do love working with this theme.
Well, I believe it may have something to do with the homepage being refreshed so many times. When I add or edit a widget I always refresh the screen. I’ve been working with widgets a lot in the last few days more than anything else and the problem with slider images disappearing has happened several times.
I wonder about one thing. My images are always sized 920 x 346. Should this be a different number?
