ParticipantHow weird; I had disabled all plugins to test but didn’t find that it solved the issue. Maybe I was still cached… I’ll give it a try, thanks a million.

ParticipantHi Jason, I’ve posted the login info using the private interface.
In Templates, what I’m seeing is that there are down arrows for each component to expand on all my existing templates – but the labels aren’t correct in the field next to the down arrows, and they don’t expand. I’ve created a new template, called Test, with no problem… but then the items can’t be expanded either.
Thanks so much for your help!

ParticipantHi Jason,
I hope you can point me in the right direction on this… over the last couple of days I’ve been trying to do the theme update and get the template interface working again, but no luck,
There was a conflict with UberMenu2 with the latest version of Alyeska, so I updated that. Big mistake, broke the site, etc.
Got that sorted out with UberMenu…. but the Templates function still doesn’t work.
My client is going a bit berserk as I can’t edit the homepage. Any additional ideas?
Thanks a million,
—Anji

ParticipantHi Jason,
I’m experiencing the exact same problem. I don’t see any errors in the dev tools console other than the Google map wanting an API key.
I don’t actually have any visible down arrows on any of my template items, so I can’t expand them to edit. I’m running the latest WP, Alyeska 3.0.1, all ThemeBlvd plugins are up to date, and no changes to the theme files, etc. I’ve disabled plugins but nothing seems to have an effect to bring back the functionality for the templates.
The slider interface is working fine.
Thanks for your help!

ParticipantThanks Jason, I came across the template customization info on their site as well but since I really don’t know much about PHP was confused about why the event detail page would come out ok but the venue page wouldn’t.
I’ll hack into it and see what I can accomplish!

ParticipantThanks Jason. I think I made a very easy fix, using your suggestion of identifying CSS specifically for smaller displays in a separate section of my child theme style.css.
I use Firebug quite a bit actually… however there are times when I just can’t seem to identify exactly which element is controlling what. In this case I still wasn’t able to find what – either padding or margin – of which element would allow me to add bottom padding/margin to that line of menu items. However I ultimately was able to tweak the padding surrounding the menu divider element to get everything up onto one line instead of wrapping (and therefore leaving the bottom/top spacing the same as it was).
Always appreciate your quick responses, thank you.

ParticipantWow so easy, thanks so much.
Should I move the add-on question above to a new topic?
“My apologies for adding this question on (particularly because its our own customization): I’d like to open up some space between the top utility menu (Home, Give Now, Rent Our Facilities, Stay Informed) and the main logo as when this menu line wraps on a mobile device the last item overlays the logo. I’ve messed with all the padding and margins that I could find with regard to a header widget in my child theme but I can’t get anything to register a change – any change for that matter. Am I looking in the wrong place? ”
I’m not sure if this is something that should have been added to the responsive style sheet (by putting a copy in the child theme) – or if it can somehow be modified in our child theme’s primary styles. Since this involved adding a widget area to the header is this outside the realm of help?

ParticipantHello! I need help with the same issue. I have manually included buttons on my homepage using the shortcode and selected the “blue” option.
However my “Read More” buttons are now set to default (not sure when this happened).

ParticipantHi Jason!
I’m hoping I can tack onto this thread instead of starting a new one for something this minor.
I’d like to make the phone number in the header, below the social icons, bigger/possibly bolder. I’m happy to sacrifice the “Call Us Today” text space to do this.
Using Firebug, I can see this is what’s changing the color of that text:
#branding .header-text { color: #1a5a78 }
However when I try to adjust the size using font-size, nothing seems to happen. So sorry to be clueless…

ParticipantThanks much, I’ll give that a try.
