Thank you. Been a while since I used your amazing theme. I forgot there was a filter for everything!

Thanks for getting back to me.

If I’ve understood correctly I’m not sure this works for me. The 2 sliders need to show the same posts, the only difference is the number of posts they show and of course the template I want to use to show them. I just can’t work out a way of differentiating between the sliders when filtering themeblvd_template_part.

Hi Jason, I’m working on this site again and need to revisit this. I now need to display 2 Grid Slider’s on the same page which show content from the same custom post type but should use different templates (each of them also has a separate query). I’m not sure how I can now assign different templates to each?

Thank you for the Beta release it looks awesome. It looks like a fantastic amount of work has gone into this, can’t wait to try it. I also have a big project that I’m considering using it for, I’ll have a play today…

Hi Jason, Grid looks like it turned out really well. Can’t wait to use it, have you a release date planned yet?

Nice, I like the column class names – makes sense. You essentially have 2 grids, a 12 column grid and a 10 column grid. I guess you could use Bootstrap customize to generate the css for the 10 column grid for you. Just turn off everything but the grid system and select 10 columns.

And with this solution to 5 columns you have no excuse!

    Demo:
    http://jsfiddle.net/sct3j/

That’s a great idea. If I were output the shortcode through some sort of object, I could keep track of everything happening through each one as a whole. If I’m doing this, I could even keep track of the fractions until they add up to 100% for a marker of when to end. Then, the “last” wouldn’t even be needed at all any more.

I think you would still need “last” to finish the row prematurely.

Could the problem of the shortcode not be solved by setting a flag variable the first time the shortcode is called (and inserting the row div) and then resetting it when you run the shortcode marked as “last”?

Hi Jason, thanks for giving it some thought…

To reply to 2, if I understand correctly, I don’t think this is a problem. Bootstrap sets a negative left and right margin to rows so nesting like this works just fine.

    Example here:

Thanks Jason, thats perfect. I should have looked for a more appropriate filter within the loop, I hadn’t realised themeblvd_get_part had a filter in.

The more I use your framework the more I appreciate how well thought out it is, you seem to have thought of everything.

I’m a bit late on this but a relatively easy way I have used to customise the Bootstrap grid used by Jumpstart is:

Compile a new, customised copy of Bootstrap using:
    http://getbootstrap.com/customize/
(There is a field for changing the gutter size)

Copy the customised Bootstrap to your child theme and overwrite Jumpstart’s copy of Bootstrap using this method:

Thanks Jason that pointed me in the right direction. I was actually using a post grid slider which also uses a different filter:

    themeblvd_post_slider_args

Thank you that would be far more sensible!
Out of interest was I even close with what I was doing?
