ParticipantOn the money!! Never knew about “screen options” changing up options per location on site.
Thank you!

ParticipantYes sir! That did it, thank you much sir!!
Have a great weekend!

ParticipantNow wouldn’t that affect it all the time? It seems that highlighting text inside the SPAN simply cancels the normal spacing rule throughout.
Also, I have added the margin rule but it makes no difference.

ParticipantWorks like a charm. Thank you!

ParticipantI eliminated text a long time ago. If you review http://web.archive.org/web/20131205001014/http://ap-police.com/, you will see kind of what it was like. Unfortunately, we do not get archived much so I cannot show you exactly how it was. But, there was never any text with them.
The footer only had those little icons like the main nav menu but without any text. I got rid of the text after doing a major theme update because it appeared too wordy and I figured people would get the point by seeing those little icons.

ParticipantSo just that I understand Jason, you are not using any part of “Slider Revolution” right? I ask because of this: http://wptavern.com/100000-wordpress-sites-compromised-using-the-slider-revolution-security-vulnerability.
Thanks,

ParticipantDisregard, problem resolved. Not using that old child theme. WP just seems to check for style sheets in all themes installed.
Thanks for the help.

ParticipantThanks. I got it fixed and found another issue. I am using the old child theme before the update. The theme is referencing the new child theme though it’s using modifications on the old child theme. Will that be a problem in the long run?

ParticipantI am using the plugin iTheme security. It is what determines when SSL is to be used. I thought about doing whole site too, but my sliders which use video embeds seem to fail when I do that.
Also, it does not matter the browser being used, seems to happen on Safari, Chrome, FF, and IE.
Thanks for info.ejb5oh
ParticipantThe images load, they just cause folks to get an HTTPS error stating that not all the content on the page is encrypted because those images in the footer pull from and HTTP source not HTTPS which is how the page is trying to fully load.

ParticipantWell, here is what I found.
I created a widget area as a duplicate for a specific section. I chose the custom route which required PHP but entered HTML. The rendering went haywire and for some reason killed my feed. All is well now.
Thank you and Thank my Great friend JG from Iowa!
