Make sense. I do sense your hesitance in recommending this route. You think it better to reverse engineer the issue and go simpler all around? Keep the same header throughout — let’s face it, that’s what 98 percent of sites do, even those that implement blogs within them — and not need the plug in. At that point, single posts get the same treatment as the primary post page. Thanks for your help on this.
That’s a great question, and I don’t have the answer. I looked at my notes and best I can tell I used the same layout for the primary post page. I built custom layouts in theme builder for the home page, for the blog home, for back pages and for individual posts. But the settings change really only on the sidebars. Frustrating.
