Upgrade lost Custom style Sheet, WordPress 4.2

I updated my theme (Barely Corporate) and now my Custom CSS is not working on the site. How do I fix this or go back to the previous version so it displays properly again?

This is what the site looked like prior to the update.

We had specific fonts and there was no blue header

there were some positioning menu positioning that has also changed.

When I try to change my CSS nothing happens

You’re currently on Barely Corporate v4.1.4, and the latest version is v4.1.8.

The issues you’re describing are from an incompatibility with WordPress 4.2. So, this most likely happened when you updated WordPress, and not the theme.

These incompatibilities were fixed with the v4.1.8 theme update, posted on the day WordPress released 4.2. So, get yourself up-to-date with the theme, and you should be good to go. Let me know if that doesn’t solve things for you.

When trying to update it from the site dashboard I get this message:

I apologize, but I’m not sure why that would be or why the file wouldn’t be able to be accessed from Envato servers. Alternatively, you can just update the theme manually through FTP in the normal way.
