Twitter Embed Shortcodes

Hello,

I’m struggling with the twitter embed WP core feature. ( http://en.support.wordpress.com/twitter/twitter-embeds/ )

When embedding in the blog with the BC theme (full tweet link in a single row) the tweet is shown with the full media field, even if there is no media attached to the tweet. So it shows an empty white area like you see in the screenshots.

The tweet link:

looks with the BC theme like this:

On a non-BC-blog it looks like this:

I’ve tried to alter the display of the tweet with the [tweet] shortcode (the hide_medie=’true’-flag) but the shortcode doesn’t work at all. Is this blocked because of the BC-shortcodes?

Aw, I remember this one now, which is something fixed in the next update. Try putting this in the bottom of your Child theme’s functions.php: http://pastie.org/6324316
