Transfer Custom CSS to Child CSS

For the website http://www.bwfli.com/, I have put your suggestion of Header padding CSS code into the Child/Customize/Custom CSS area and it works just fine on my site. But when I copy that same code into the Child/Theme Editor/akita-child/style.css and save it. Then delete the code from the Custom CSS location and refresh my site, all the changes are gone even though they are on the akita-child/style.css file, not custom css location. Any ideas on what is wrong? Thanks for your help.

You want to put your Custom CSS in the “custom.css” file of your Child theme. Checkout this video and it will explain all of this to you: https://vimeo.com/41331677

Perfect. I had viewed the Child video before, but that custom.css point blew over me. I reviewed it now and changed my custom.css and it all works. Great work.
    Thanks. Rick
